Addressing Hiv/Aids in the Workplace

Through this course, the qualifying learners can demonstrate an understanding of HIV/AIDS issues affecting them personally and in the workplace. They will able to apply relevant national, industry and company policies and procedures for dealing with HIV/AIDS in the workplace.

Qualifying learners will be able to carry out the following:

  • Explain and discuss HIV/AIDS facts and figures
  • Identify behaviors that may create a risk of HIV transmission
  • Explain the rights and responsibilities of employees in the workplace regarding HIV/AIDS
  • Identify and apply relevant policies and procedures for dealing with HIV/AIDS in the workplace

Only a facilitator who has been properly trained and is competent in the presentation of this course content and methodology should present this training. CPME can provide an accredited and competent facilitator for this training course.
